The image below shows assembly of brushes used for testing asphalt shingles. It begins with grouping individual wire strands. Strands are grouped into smaller amounts using a custom tool designed to hold the exact amount while the o-rings are applied. Groups of strands are glued into the brush head with the o-rings pushed down for strength and stabilization as glue cures.
